Synopsis: Reita knew it was when he was willing to let a night of miraculous sex go by just to cuddle with someone that perhaps Kai was more serious than he’d originally anticipated.
Comments: I haven't done an 'R' fiction in a while, and I had an urge.


“I’m so cold,” Kai whispered to Reita, latching his body on to the others. The snow that surrounded them was merciless, and though they would be at their hotel in less than five minutes via walking, Kai felt compelled to point out his current condition to Reita, no matter how childish it sounded.

Reita merely held him close, letting Kai absorb what little body heat he could offer. It was moments like so that Kai knew Reita was in for ‘the real deal.’


“Stop!” Kai found himself crying, pulling the sheets up his bare chest, putting on pause their late-night escapade.

“What, Kai?” Reita asked, his tone showing just how annoyed he was. With reason, too, if his erection meant anything in the formula. Idly, he flicked his finger over the head of his erection, eyes twisting in painful pleasure.

“I just.. I want to cuddle,” Kai meekly replied, pulling the covers higher, showing only his eyes in the darkness. His pupils were only just seen by the glow emitted by the candlelight the adorned the room.

“...now?” Reita replied hoarsely, feeling more and more on the brink of tossing Kai out the window.

“Please?” Kai replied, lowering the covers slightly to rest on his nose.

Reita breathed out.

Reita knew it was when he was willing to let a night of miraculous sex go by just to cuddle with someone that perhaps Kai was more serious then he’d originally anticipated.


Jealousy was not something Kai found himself accustomed to.

He hated how this waitress knew about Reita’s kink, the one he’d confessed to.

Kai momentarily feared that if she leaned any closer with that devilish cherry in her mouth that her shirt would bust open then and there – the worst part, he supposed, was that Reita looked like he didn’t mind.

Kai stood up, walking out of the bar, hoping Reita would follow him, but unsurprised when he didn’t.

Perhaps Reita wasn’t so genuine after all.


“Just say you love me,” Reita murmured to Kai, the warm, protective breeze that the beach provided an excellent guise of his guilty but ever-playful expression.

“I don’t love you,” Kai replied, crossing his arms, stubbornly refusing the comforting hug being offered to him.

“You know I’d never leave you for her,” Reita teased, leaning forward to place kisses along Kai’s jawline, ones that were soft and teasing, demanding Kai’s attention in a very subtle way. “I could never love a nameless woman like I love my dearest Kaichu.”

“I’m not a Pokemon.” Despite the harsh tone used, Kai found himself caving under Reita’s playboy words. He reached a hand out to nervously trace one of Reita’s ears, tugging on a lobe to mimic Reita’s tongue on his ear.

“Just say you love me,” Reita repeated.

Kai licked his lips, replying, “I’ll think about it.”

“But I already know your answer,” Reita cheekily answered.

Kai didn’t doubt it.

When I started this, I actually meant for it to be Reita/Ruki. But then I couldn't bring myself to do it, for my Kai/Reita muse was screaming at me for not having written them recently.
And so this came to be. :D
